For use with Hougen^® Portable Magnetic Drills and many competitive models on materials up to 6″ thick. They are made from hardened M2 high speed steel and are precision ground for excellent performance throughout the cut and long tool life. “12,000-Series” cutters have a 3/4″ dia. double-flatted shank and for extended tool life and lower cost per hole.

Special Sizes and coatings are available on request.

All cutters are available with stack geometry for drilling in stacked plate applications.

After years of design and testing, the game has changed for deep hole drilling with the NEW Quad Helix Flute “12,000-Series” Cutters. The new design improves chip flow from the bottom recesses of the cutting teeth. Reducing chip build up, time to clear the chips and increasing productivity. The one-of-a-kind continuously expanding flutes act as an auger to more efficiently extract the chips. Quad Helix Cutters feature the time proven Hougen-Edge^® tooth geometry, they are resharpenable and of course, made in the USA.
